Hello Besties!

The cadence of this newsletter and podcast has slowed a bit lately. This is not just due to the chaos of summer, especially the last hurrah as it comes to a close, but I’m trying to finish the manuscript for a memoir I’ve been working on for the past few years. I have a September 2nd deadline to turn it in for notes, which is fast approaching — a little too fast, actually. Luckily, Mike is picking up the slack with an awesome new lesson on stereo inspired by his latest audio goings-on.

The next podcast episode with Katy Hearne-Church from Queens Podcast will be out soon after my deadline, but if you want to get a head start, check out the video version of her interview, which shares her journey of creating a popular history podcast with so many great takeaways about collaboration, growing on Patreon, and more.

I also wanted to let you know that I’m teaching two upcoming workshops through Pandemic University. The first one is TOMORROW.

  • Start a Newsletter to Supercharge Your Audience, Network & Business (Sunday, August 27th)

  • Grow Your Show & Make Money Podcasting Masterclass (Saturday, September 9th)

There are two streams: A is for the workshops only, and B includes feedback from me where I’ll review your materials, and then we’ll have a 1:1 meeting. The workshops will be recorded if you can’t make it live.

They are priced to be super affordable — $49 each or bundle both for just $75. And I got my paid Besties a 20% off discount code.
